Creative Director, Director and VFX Supervisor. Concepts, commercials, event content, team direction and on-set supervision.
I’m Leon Loukeris, a Greek-German creative director, visual effects artist and educator based in Shanghai.

For more than 25 years, I’ve worked with images: building them, directing them and helping others find their own way of making them. My career began in television and 3D production in Greece, continued through team supervision in Vietnam, Singapore and Cambodia, and brought me to film, commercials and large-scale events in China.
My practice connects live-action filmmaking with CG and visual effects, from an early concept to a shoot and its final images. Today I bring that production experience into the classroom at Shanghai Vancouver Film School and Raffles, teaching photography, cinematography, storytelling and visual effects. I’m interested in clear ideas, practical craft and using new tools with purpose.
